The line of Money

In our experience as the most successful fundraiser for cancer research in the Netherlands, we see that big companies like to donate large sums of money when they know where the money is spend on and it gives them a good feeling. For example when we at Inspire2Live / Alpe d´HuZes asked for money for our Cancer Rehabilitation Program we started growing with great speed and collected in 2006 € 370K, in 2007 € 1 million and in 2008 over € 3.5 million. In 2009 we will raise an unprecedented € 6 million. This is realized because of our very motivated bike riders but also because our sponsors, which are mostly companies, know what we do with their money. This is also the reason why we want to organise a Positive Global Event.

We are convinced that realizing our dream is only possible with the help and financial means of corporate leaders like Bill Gates and Ratan Tata. We are also convinced that this is a golden opportunity for the world of banking to work on their image in a positive way. Therefore we look for contacts with Robert B. Zoellick (President of the World Bank) and Dominique Strauss-Kahn (Managing Director of the IMF). We started allready talkes with mr Nout Wellink and look forward to meet mr Zoellick and mr Strauss-Kahn on this subject.
